EOTAS Family Meeting – A Positive Step Forward

This week, we were pleased to host a long-awaited meeting for EOTAS families, joined by Michelle White and Bridget Morris from the local authority.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for parents and carers to share their experiences and offer suggestions on how this provision can be improved. We are delighted to report that the discussion was extremely positive, with a shared commitment to moving forward collaboratively.

As a result of this meeting, we have agreed to begin a co-production approach, starting with the formation of a focus group. This will ensure that families remain at the heart of shaping future developments.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the parents and carers who attended and contributed so openly. Your collective voice is incredibly important and plays a key role in creating meaningful change. At Leicestershire SEND Hub, we truly value your input and ongoing support.
